Who we treat

While we specialise in psychological support for neurodiversity people, people living with long term chronic disability, and transgender people, we welcome all clients aged 13 years and older.

You are encouraged to discuss your needs with us before committing to an appointment - please contact us.

A referral is not required to receive treatment at our clinic. However, if you wish to receive a Medicare rebate for your sessions you’ll need to have a Mental health treatment plan from your doctor before your first appointment with us. Please contact your GP for more information.

Euphoria Psychology does not work with clients with eating disorders or those with high-risk suicidality. If these concerns are being addressed by a different service then your referral may be considered.

What to expect

Our appointments run for 50mins.

Initial sessions will focus on getting to know you - you can expect a lot of questions about yourself and your personal history. Ongoing sessions will be adapted to your individual needs and focus on strategies to address your situation.

Appointments are available in our clinic and via telehealth using Microsoft Teams.

See Our clinic page for more information about our space.

Cost and payment

Our standard appointments cost $240 per session.

If you have a Mental health treatment plan part of this fee is covered by the Medicare rebate. Some private health policies may also partly cover psychological support.

We have low income bulk billing slots available for trans people with a health care card. These slots are limited and it is expected that people who use them attend and engage consistently.

Before your appointment we’ll request your payment details, which will be securely stored by us. After each appointment we will automatically deduct our fees, after which you can claim any Medicare or private health rebates.
