Appointment information
If you are in crisis call 000 immediately.
Who we treat
While we specialise in psychological support for neurodiversity people, people living with long term chronic disability, and transgender people, we welcome all clients aged 13 years and older.
You are encouraged to discuss your needs with us before committing to an appointment - please contact us.
A referral is not required to receive treatment at our clinic. However, if you wish to receive a Medicare rebate for your sessions you’ll need to have a Mental health treatment plan from your doctor before your first appointment with us. Please contact your GP for more information.
We accept clients with NDIS plans that are self managed. Unfortunately we cannot accept clients with agency managed plans.
Euphoria Psychology does not work with clients with eating disorders or those with high-risk suicidality. If these concerns are being addressed by a different service then your referral may be considered.
What to expect
Our appointments run for 50mins.
Initial sessions will focus on getting to know you - you can expect a lot of questions about yourself and your personal history. Ongoing sessions will be adapted to your individual needs and focus on strategies to address your situation.
Appointments are available in our clinic, via telehealth using Microsoft Teams or as home visits (incurs travel costs).
See Our clinic page for more information about our space.
Cost and payment
Our standard appointments cost $240 per session.
If you have a Mental health treatment plan part of this fee is covered by the Medicare rebate. Some private health policies may also partly cover psychological support.
Before your appointment we’ll request your payment details, which will be securely stored by us. After each appointment we will automatically deduct our fees.
If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate we will process this for you.
Clients with private health insurance can claim any rebates after their appointment.
